Hi, I’m Emma! I was fortunate to complete my design education at the University of Minnesota. My main interests are in areas of visual design such as identity, branding, packaging, & concept development. The little things move me as well — who doesn’t like to relax while doing a little kerning, am I right?

When it comes to design, there is nothing I believe in more than the power of the form-function relationship. Form is function and function is the point! To that effect, in the famous words of William Morris, "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful."

I live south of the metro with my partner Josh, our four fur babies (3 dogs, 2 cats), and our feathered babies (our flock of rescue chickens, all named Michelle). My big passion outside of work is gardening. We have a magical 5-acre plot where the chickens free range, with a wandering creek where the fireflies show off from late May to August. The dogs keep me company while I work in the garden, growing a large part of the produce we eat. You can catch me out on the weekends in my green Bug, thrifting with a jumbo-sized ice tea rattling around in my hand, too.
